In My BackYard is a vegetable growing plot!

The National Greenbuild and Ecoshow was held 9-11 June 2006.  IMBY asked nicely and the organisers donated a stand.  IMBY asked Yates very nicely and they donated packets of vegetable seeds to give away as "Pocket Money Seeds".

We made a leaflet to attach to the seed packets to attract the Kids attention and gave away over 600 packets of seeds during the show.

Thanks very much to Mick and Wayne from the show and to Karen from Yates.  The best comment was from a nine year old boy.  When the concept of Pocket Money Seeds become clear he said "that is really cunning!"  We liked his style.

The instant gardens created good interest and we think they should be renamed the "no excuse garden" because of their simplicity and accessibility.
